Pop-Up Christmas Card
The Pop-Up Christmas card was already a well-known (and also highly desirable) card that More Than Gifts had in its assortment. During my internship in 2023, I had the opportunity to make up many of these cards as Christmas cards for companies, who could choose them for their employees and have them personalised.
The Pop-Up card is a voucher containing a code for the online webshop offered by More Than Gifts. Employees of companies who have received this card can use this code to log in to the personalised webshop and select their Christmas gift.
I have had the opportunity to design a number of these cards for various clients of More Than Gifts, including the companies Vitens, Waternet and the Municipality of Amsterdam. Fortunately, a worksheet for this card already existed and I had enough examples to create the designs, as this card has also been made up for several clients in previous years.
The great thing about styling Pop-Up cards is that you can turn them into a cosy scene. Most customers choose to have a skyline made which includes a head office or well-known buildings from the region. Furthermore, people related to the company are often shown, as well as props and vehicles. The foreground almost always consists of the standard Christmas market shown in the picture above.
