Swatch

This is it. My very first project of my graphic design studies: designing a Swatch watch in a unique theme, along with a number of different expressions, such as a three-panel flyer and a poster.

I started the Swatch project by first defining my theme. I got inspired by Japanese culture, and looked for different themes in it. I put these themes together on a concept board to determine the colours. After making several sketches, using my concept board as a base, I settled on one specific theme that I would stick to for the rest of the project. This theme ended up being “Sakura”, the Japanese cherry blossom.

From this, a number of designs emerged. First, I created the design of the watch itself, followed by a flyer and a poster. See the images below.
